The sun is shining, and the water is calling! That can only mean one thing — it’s time to head to Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City! This indoor waterpark is an excellent option for those looking to escape the heat (or the cold!) outside. If the weather outside is too much to handle, Great Wolf Lodge welcomes you into their indoor waterpark. Kept at a comfortable 84ºF all year round, the waterpark welcomes guests of all ages!

The waterpark is safe even for toddlers. They have Fort Mackenzie — a four-story water fort treehouse — and Whooping Hollow, which is designed specifically for the little ones. They also feature Cub Paw Pool, where your kiddos can paddle and play to their heart’s content.

There are plenty of thrills for the bigger kids (teens and adults)! You’re sure to get your adrenaline pumping with several water slides, including the Alberta Falls and the Howling Wolf. The best part is definitely the Triple Twist! This water slide features three funnels in a row, spiraling you through the six-inch-deep pool below.

Of course, all the swimming and screaming is bound to make you hungry, and Great Wolf Lodge has you covered. With several dining options on-site, you can refuel and recharge for another round of fun!

The waterpark also has many Dry Land Attractions. With a mini-golf course, some quests, and an arcade — just to name a few — your pack will never run out of things to do.

Are you looking for a western-themed waterpark? Dodge City has got you covered! Long Branch Lagoon boasts thrilling slides, such as the Doc’s Plunge and The Gunslinger.

Aside from the exciting slides, this waterpark also has a wave pool that will make you feel like you’re at the beach. The Wrangler Rapids rolls you over and over again in its swift currents! It also floats you through the Cowboy Creek, a 720-foot lazy river.

For the kiddos, they also have a separate area with kid-friendly slides and activities. Your children will enjoy spraying water on unsuspecting guests at the Fort Splash, screaming and shouting their way to water cannons, and dumping buckets. The Fort Splash is a shallow pool with an interactive play structure. Who wouldn’t have a blast with over 20 different activities?
Long Branch Lagoon’s Ol’ Swimming Hole is the ideal place to relax and take a break from all the excitement with the whole family. It’s a 50-meter competition pool with a family slide, a few lap swimming lanes, and double drop slides. There’s lots of deck space and shade if you want to lounge around.

If you want to celebrate a special occasion, the waterpark also holds parties and rentals. You spend all day with your whole family at the Cabanas, the Pavilion, or the Island Area!
