At the far southeast region of Texas is an amazing aquatic center with several water park attractions for families to enjoy. While most adults tend to come for the lap lanes, kids can splash around in their large water playground and beach area. In the summer months, Pharr Water Park attracts locals from all over the county for a day of fun.
Pharr Water Park
The outdoor area at the aquatic center is where you’ll find the water slides, splash zone, and lazy river. For being in a very remote area of Texas, Pharr Parks did a great job at creating a water park that can bring the whole community together.
Main Water Park Attractions
- Leisure Pool – the largest section of the facility where the zero depth shallow waters features the play structure for children to enjoy. It has several small slides, water canons, geysers, dump buckets, and a palm tree with attached sprayers. Kids go crazy with water coming at them from all angles. In the deep end has 2 different water slides. The first is a body slide with quick turns as you dump back out into the pool. The second is a tube slide with very similar turns and twists.
- Lazy River – Beat the heat with a relaxing float around their circular river. There is even a small water slide where you can grab a tube and get shot right into river to start your float.
