Las Vegas always goes overboard with providing tourists over the top attractions and entertainment. Cowabunga Bay is no different as they created one of the best waterparks in the U.S with over 25 different water slides and rides to enjoy. During the summertime this aquatic complex is one of the most popular places to go to escape the Nevada heat and enjoy a day of water themed activities. Because it’s Las Vegas, you’ll also be in for a surprise with their unique take on thrill rides.

Main Cowabunga Bay Water Park Attractions

  • Beach Blanket Banzai – Enjoy a four person raft that carries you up 60 feet before plunging you down over 600 feet of of twists and turns at high speeds. One of the more thrilling slides that a whole family can enjoy together.
  • Boardwalk Bay – Take a break for a bit and relax in a dedicated pool just for lounging around.
  • Breaker 1-9 – Grab a single or double tube and enjoy a high speed waterslide that has several quick drops to take your breath away.
  • Cowabunga Kids Cove – The waterpark added a section for smaller kids to also enjoy water slides. They are scaled way down as they slide down a few feet for pure enjoyment.
  • Cowabunga River – Also known as a lazy river, enjoy a nice float around the park while passing several water features.
  • Downhill Doggers – The kids version of Surfin’ USA with four lanes for the little ones to race each other.
  • Point Panic – Probably the most thrilling waterslide as you plunge down a completely pitch-black tube. At various times the tubes light up for a quick second to keep you on your toes.
  • Rock-A-Hoola – Start on a 300 foot slide before being thrown into a giant vortex that swirls you around before splashing down in a pool below.
  • Surf-A-Go-Go – This is the best tube waterslide that has two unique rebound chambers. When you enter one of these section you’ll go side to side rebounding up the walls of the tube. You’ll quickly be thrown back into the 600 foot long water slide making it one of the longest water adventures at Cowabunga Bay.
  • Surf-A-Rama Wave Pool – As the largest wave pool in the state, this 1950’s themed attraction creates four foot waves that slowly crash onto the beachfront.
  • Surfin’ USA – Starting at 50 feet, race down one of 6 side by side shoots and see who comes out victorious.
  • Wild Surf – Another unique feature to Cowabunga Bay is having the world’s largest man-made wave. The four person attraction drops you over 60 feet into the swell where you will tempt fate before plunging down into a finishing pool.
  • Zuma Zooma – Starting at 75 feet up, a trap door will unexpectedly drop you down into a very high speed slide that turns into a 360 degree loop. It’s a thrill seekers dream ride!

When you are ready to relax Cowabunga Bay offers private cabana rentals that range from standard to vip treatment. Each one comes with full service servers who will make sure your drink is never empty.
