Mundo Hot Springs – Idaho

Located within Washington County, Idaho and alongside the Weiser River sits Mundo Hot Springs. With two different pool options, this little oasis is the perfect weekend retreat to relax and unwind as you stare at panoramic views of the states Mountain peaks. It’s roughly a two hour drive from Boise, but well worth the adventure to get away from the city life and reconnect with mother nature.

This commercial facility does feed in the geothermal waters by pipe which goes directly into both pools for you to enjoy. The source of the water comes in at a blistering 160 degrees, but is cooled to more manageable soaking temps. The first area to relax in is their large hot springs pool which has an average temperature of 102 degrees. During the winter months it provides some of the most scenic views of Idaho as you keep warm while snowfall drops over your head.

The second section is Mundo’s hot springs spa. It’s slightly warmer averaging a temperature of 106 degrees. The natural mineral waters in both pools are kept chemical free allowing you to absorb the states healing waters without contamination.

Mundo Hot Springs Accommodations and Amenities

For those looking to stay overnight, the facility offers cabins, a hostile, an RV campsite, and even a pool house. Both hot springs pools are free to use for any guests staying. Mundo also has restrooms, showers, and a bistro to grab a quick bite before heading back to relax.
