The Guntersville State Park Moonshine Trail is a 6.5-mile trail located in the Guntersville State Park near Scottsboro, Alabama. The trail follows an old moonshine route used by bootleggers during prohibition to transport their illegal whiskey from the hills of northeast Alabama to Nashville and other major cities.

Along the way hikers will see several historic sites including stills, distilleries, and caves that were once used by these bootleggers as hideouts or storage locations for their liquor. The trail also offers views of Lake Guntersville and its surrounding wildlife habitats. Hikers should be aware that parts of this trail may be muddy or wet due to recent rainfalls so proper footwear is recommended when hiking this trail.
