Details about Green Canyon Hot Springs

Like we mentioned, there are three main outdoor pools available. The geothermal source of the springs comes up from the ground at about 115 degrees and feeds the two hot pool areas (the third is a plunge area). Big Hot Springs Pool maintains an average temperature of 96 degrees and is quite popular as you can stay in the waters all day if you so choose. The second known as Hot Pool averages around 105 degrees and is ideally used to relax any sore muscles for 10-20 minutes. The last is the plunge pool and is around 55 degrees. You’ll often see kids jumping out of the hot springs into the plunge and back into the hot pools again. It can be quite refreshing and great for stimulating your muscles.

There aren’t too many amenities and accommodations located at Green Canyon. If you’d like to stay the night there are both RV and tent camping options available. Also please be aware the hot springs isn’t open every day of the year so make sure to check out their website to avoid driving a long distance only to have to turn around.
