Canyon Hot Springs – Revelstoke, CA

Located in a remote area of Revelstoke, BC, Canyon Hot Springs is the perfect getaway for a relaxing day as you take in the scenic views of Canada. The natural mineral water is pumped in from 2 miles away to fill their hot springs and cooler thermal pool. Temperatures range around 104 degrees (hot spring) down to 86 degrees (swimming pool)

Outside of just the hot springs, Canyon hot springs resort does have some great activities to do around it. From hiking in the national park, camping under the stars, fishing, golf, or even rock climbing, it’s the perfect place for a secluded vacation as you take in the sites. The hot springs resort itself is only open from May to September so if you plan on being out near Glacier and Revelstoke National Park, make the 20 minute drive to let your muscles relax from a long day.

Several of the minerals that come from the springs are:

– Calcium
– Sulphate
– Fluoride
– Magnesium
– Chloride
– Silica

Canyon Hot Springs was actually first built a few kilometers away when railway workers built a pool from timber to trap in the hot springs. It’s been modernized and now the water pumps until swimming pools for your enjoyment. Many people that visit BC enjoy coming here for the natural healing elements and to get away from larger crowds at other springs.

Outside of the hotels and resorts in the area, Revelstoke does have 100’s of campgrounds if you plan on driving your rv there. There is luxury lodging including historic cabins, modern chalets, and even suites for ultimate pampering. If you are more of a wilderness person, camping is also available almost everywhere you go with designated areas that include fire pits, tables, and outhouses.
