To get to Boat Box Hot Springs from Challis, take US-93 north for approximately 1 mile and turn left onto a dirt road known as Cougar Creek Road (Forest Service Road 071).
Continue on this road for about 16 miles until you reach the trailhead at the end of the road.
From here, follow signs along an easy to moderate 2 mile hike that will lead you down into a canyon and eventually to Boat Box Hot Springs.
The springs are nestled among pine trees next to a small creek with beautiful mountain views all around. Enjoy!
