It is part of the Wailua River State Park and is easily accessible from the nearby town of Kapa’a. The falls are about 30 feet high with two separate drops, one on each side that rush down into a refreshing swimming hole for visitors to enjoy. The area around Hoopii Falls has been declared as a sacred site by Hawaiian elders and it’s considered to be very significant in terms of spiritual energy and healing power. Hoopii Falls is known for being one of Hawaii’s most picturesque waterfalls with its crystal clear waters cascading over black lava rock formations and lush green foliage surrounding it from every angle; truly making this destination oneof-a-kind!
