Washington Waterfalls Map
The Pacific Northwest is home to countless waterfalls, with the state of Washington being no exception. The high amount of rainfall and lush wilderness creates some of the most breathtaking views of cascading waters as they run down the peaks and into rivers and oceans. For this reason, thousands of people travel to Washington to “chase” waterfalls such as Spray Falls or Marymere Falls. There are even several close to the major city of Seattle and Portland (quick drive across the state lines) allowing many travelers easy access to spend a couple hours from their trip to enjoy Washington’s mother nature and rejuvenate the body and soul before heading back to reality.
The above map will show that most of the waterfalls we mention are in national and state parks on the western part of Washington. If you plan on doing a day trip or even a weekend getaway, we recommend heading towards Mount Rainier or the Olympic Peninsula. If you rather stay close to home base, there are some amazing waterfalls within city limits as well. Click on the different icons within the map to learn more about each waterfall. Happy Exploring!
