Secret Falls is an incredible, hidden waterfall located in Alabama’s Little River Canyon National Preserve. The falls are accessible by a 1-mile hike through the woods from the trailhead off of AL 176. The Secret Falls are truly spectacular and can be seen cascading over a large rock outcropping into a pool below.

Details about Secret Falls
The breathtaking view of this powerful waterfall makes it one of the most popular attractions at Little River Canyon National Preserve. Visitors should expect to get wet when visiting this spot, as there isn’t much room for swimming or wading around the base of Secret Falls due to its narrow confines.
However, visitors can take advantage of the many spots along both sides of the canyon walls that offer great views and photo opportunities without getting too close to danger areas near slippery rocks or fast moving water currents. In addition to its stunning beauty, Secret Falls also offers some interesting wildlife viewing opportunities such as birds, fish and other aquatic life that call these waters home. Visitors may also want to bring binoculars in order to catch glimpses of deer and other animals that inhabit this area during certain times throughout the year.
