Details about Kinlock Falls

The Kinlock Falls are one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Alabama, with a drop of over 70 feet. Visitors can enjoy stunning views from both sides of the canyon as well as take pictures below at the base of the waterfall. During periods when there is sufficient rainfall, visitors may also be able to view multiple tiers that form further downstream due to erosion caused by rushing waters over time.

There are several hiking trails surrounding Kinlock Falls that range from easy walks along flat terrain to more challenging hikes with steep inclines and descents. There is also an observation platform near Kinlock Falls where visitors can get an up-close look at these majestic falls without getting wet! No matter what type of outdoor experience you’re looking for, Kinlock Falls has something for everyone!

Whether it’s taking in breathtaking scenery or enjoying some quality family time outdoors, this natural wonder should not be missed on your next visit to Alabama!

Directions to Kinlock Falls

To get there, you’ll need to travel along I-20 heading east towards Birmingham. Exit at AL Hwy 77/AL Hwy 25 (exit 168). Take AL Hwy
25 north for about 16 miles until you reach Cheaha State Park Rd (CR 9) on your left. Turn onto this road and continue for about 5 miles until you reach Kinlock Falls parking lot on your right.
