Kimberley Warm Springs
For those that truly want to be secluded, Kimberley Warm Springs in Tasmania is the perfect place to relax. Because of it’s location it isn’t a tourist hot spot making it one of the local attractions when you visit. The warm springs pool itself is roughly 20 x 13 meters and the temperature stays at a constant 77 degrees (25 celcius). It’s not the hottest springs you will find, but it’s still quite pleasant during the winter season. If you plan on spending several hours hear they do also have a nice BBQ area and public restrooms for use.
Kimberley Warm Springs does have quite a bit of vegetation that has to be cleared quite often. The sandy bottom feels great on the toes as you take in a small piece of heaven in Australia. There is also some good hiking trails and scenic views to take in while you tour Tasmania.
Hastings Caves & Thermal Springs
A nice hot and thermal springs to visit while on your trip is the Hastings Caves and Springs. In a very scenic area that boasts a giant rainforest, roaring rivers, and a beautiful cave that will take your breath away, Tasmania Australia will give you everything you’re looking for. An easy drive from Hobart, Hastings Thermal springs in Tasmania is considered as one of only a handful of karstic springs that produce warm water. In the early 1900’s a pool was built right on top of the thermal springs and no serves as the perfect getaway for a relaxing soak.
Hastings Thermal Springs in Tasmania is completely natural with a average temperature of 83 degrees (28 celsius). Although that doesn’t make it the hottest springs in Australia, it still feels purifying and relaxing on those brisk evenings. As you step out you can then head back to your room for a nice hot shower and log fire to complete the perfect day.
