Chances are as you make your way through Kootenay National Park, you’ll stumble upon one of the largest hot springs in Canada. Tourists from all over the world come to Radium Hot Springs to relax and rejuvenate while taking in unbelievable views of the Cliffs of Sinclair Canyon.

There are two giant pools that are perfect for a good soak. The larger of the two pools keeps a constant temperature of 103 F. The smaller hot spring is much cooler, coming in at 84 degrees. You’ll see many people take a quick dip in the cooler spring to open up the pores and then relax in the larger pool to absorb the natural minerals.

Radium Hot Springs does offer a full service spa treatment with services such as:

  • Massage
  • Body Therapy

Cafe:

Before or after relaxing in the springs, grab a quick bite before heading off to your next adventure.

Radium Hot Spring Pool Hours

Radium Hot Springs in BC is open year round. Hours vary and are subject to change.

Hot Pool:

  • Mid October to Mid May
  • Monday to Friday 1 pm to 9 pm
  • Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 9 pm
  • May to October – Daily 9 am to 11 pm

Cool Pool:

  • Mid October to Mid May
  • Friday: 6 pm to 9 pm
  • Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 9 pm
  • Mid May to Mid October – Open Daily

Things To Do around Radium Hot Springs

Hiking:

Hiking is one of the more popular activities to do in the area. People from all over the world will come to Kootenay National Park year road to explore Canada. Radium is the perfect location with it’s easier hike and walking trails, while coming back in the afternoon to rejuvenate.
