Utah Waterfalls Map
From the red rocks of Moab to wilderness mountain ranges near Salt Lake City, Utah is home to some of the most beautiful landscapes and national parks in the US. It’s not surprising that as you map out your journey throughout the state you will find breathtaking waterfalls that blend right into mother nature. In the summer time when it gets hot, thousands of locals head out to the wild to escape the heat and plunge into a swimming hole as the cascading waters fall down upon them. There are many states like Utah where the natural scenery can be more impressive then the waterfalls themselves.
From the map above you basically have tweo main regions of waterfalls within Utah. North Utah and surrounding Salt Lake City is home to quite a bit of falls that stretch throughout Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. It’s an easy drive from the city and the perfect way to spend a day exploring. South Utah lies Dixie National Forest which has it’s own grouping of falls. Because it’s not as close to a major city you can typically find more seclusion and less crowds which will enhance the entire experience. We do recommend having a map if you plan on adventuring to these falls as cell service is quite limited once you reach the trailheads.
